$100 per sign-up. Their reps advertise the toll-free number
anyway they can, online and offline. Interested people then
call the number, provide the repfs special code number,
and hopefully sign up.
Like with all opportunities, itfs best to do your homework.
They are not members in good standing with the BBB, they were
not rated #1 easiest home-based business by Cutting Edge
magazine or by Forbes magazine. Top Secrets was (and may still
be currently) under investigation by the Kansas Attorney
Generalfs Office.

Are you one of the many Internet users who are being
tempted by or actually taken in by all the hype?
It is very easy to buy into all the hype and fairy
tales that continually tell you that the Internet
is a Goldmine where you can make a fortune. Even
to the point of trying to convince you that you
should leave behind your traditional 9-5 job to run
your own Internet business from the comfort of your
own home in order to gain security, wealth, freedom,
independence and tons of free time for yourself.
All of us want to believe in this type of dream ----
BUT we must remember that it is a dream. The truth
of the matter is that you have to work for anything
that you want in life.
The Internet is a Goldmine but, can you make millions?
I am not sure, but you can create a very comfortable
income from an Internet business. There are skills
you must learn first, just like with any other job.
You must be willing to work hard --- harder than you
do when you are working for someone else at a 9-5 job.
Running an Internet business takes a special set of
skills. Advertising & marketing know how is especially
important. You must know the difference between spam
and direct e-mail marketing to avoid losing your ISP or
ruining your reputation. Knowing how to get indexed by
search engines is very important -- it can keep constant
traffic coming to your website. You need to know who
your target market is in order to write effective sales
letters, headlines, ads and website copy. These are
just a few of the skills you must develop before you can
build a successful Internet business.
The Internet is a Goldmine in the sense that the average
person is given a low cost opportunity that can produce
extremely good money. But you cannot allow yourself to
be fooled by all the claims that you will succeed on the
Internet with no experience and no skills and no work.
Making money on the Internet is a JOB!! You must be
willing to learn the skills and gain experience. Just
take your time learning all you can about the Internet.
If you have a willingness to learn, don't mind hard work
and have determination you will eventually succeed.

Free Does Not Mean Poor! Or Why the Wet Handshake?

Whether you have a service or an information product you sell
from your website, the best way to develop a relationship with
your visiting audience is to offer free information.
Wait...Why Give Away Free Information Anyway?
Why Not Just Go For The Sell?
Offering Free Information has been and still is a great way of
increasing site traffic. Statistics say it takes 7
communications before the average visitor becomes a buyer.
Hard sells do not work on the net. You must first establish a
RELATIONSHIP. An informative free report or other giveaway is
like your handshake; the primary step in establishing what you
hope will be a long, profitable relationship. It helps to build
trust, credibility, and a satisfying connection with your
visitors.
There's is no better way to do that than with a valuable
introductory gift.
Okay, I Have A Freebie, Why Doesn't Anyone Come Back And Buy?
First, ask yourself this question: Is your freebie any good?
Be honest. If upon closer inspection you concede that what
you're offering isn't that great, either improve it or shelve
it and create something else. You should not promote anything
you do not believe in.
Is Your Free Report Associated With The Paid Product You Offer?
This is a common mismatch. Your giveaway should be directly
associated with the product or service you want to sell. Do not
give away info-disk reports if you are not in the info-disk
business. It confuses people. Confused people do not make
purchases.
Follow these simple guidelines when creating your free report:
1. HEADLINE - Make sure it has an accurate and intriguing
title. Most reputable Internet marketing programs have a
section on effective words. Get one.
2. DO YOUR BEST - Write to the best of your ability. Using a
spelling and grammar-checking program can help you avoid major
mistakes. Plus, there are excellent FREE copy and writing
resources to help you become a better writer. Remember:
proofread then proofread again! And like your website or
e-zine, make it look GOOD. If all else fails, Hire Expert help.
The potential sales are worth it.
3. NO PITCHING!! - People can hardly stand to watch
commercials, far less read them. Your freebie should stand on
its own and not be a hard sell for your product. If you provide
a good, solid free report and mention your service or product,
they will want to come back to you.
4. BE FOUND - On the other hand, it doesn't matter how good the
report is if people can't find you. We see it all the time. All
pertinent contact information should appear at BOTH the
beginning AND end. Include:
- full name - e-mail address - website URL - phone and/or
address (if applicable) - copyright notice!!!
5. RELATIONSHIP - is everything! Make your home (site) or ezine
a place they want to come to or something they want to read
again and again. Keep it personal.
There are other questions such as, How do I get my free report
to potential buyers?...but we'll cover that next time.
First, get one done.
The quality of what you offer--free or paid--will determine
whether your site or e-zine is bookmarked or subscribed
to...or forgotten. If you give away free garbage, your visitors
will suspect that you want them to pay for garbage too.
Online society is click and go. If people do not like your
offer, they'll CLICK and there GOes your RELATIONSHIP.
So don't screw up your introduction with a wet handshake.
